I usually score in the 550s (550 on the real thing).

I took an online SAT program test thingy, and it ranged me from 600-680 (I missed 12; I usually miss like 25).

Good outlook? :-D

Am I applying the right tactics?

It looks as you are, since you have corrected half of your mistakes. ;)

Nice job! Try to do the same thing, and see if it works again :)

please share your strategies (:

yes, i want your strategies too.

haha, I love how whenever people post about having any kind of improvement, or decent score in CR, everybody pounces on them, begging for advice :D

do you know what you did right? I you understand how you corrected yourself then that is great...just make sure you know why you improved, not just that you improved or else it might be a fluke...but that is not meant to stress you out!

I haven't checked what I did wrong, yet.

I'll keep yall' updated. I love helping people that are in the same jam as me.

I utilized Barron 2400. SUPER book. I would just go into Barnes and Noble and just read the tips. You don't have to buy the book, unless you feel like you need to.

I practiced the acronyms, and after awhile they became second nature to me.

Practice reading I guess. I read NYU Times everyday now. They have like sections: art, health, science, etc. So basically I read the genres that I know the SAT will question one on.

yeah I have the barrons 2400 also. Great book. I havent taken an SAT test after I studied that book but will in October. I have high expectations =D
