<p>I know this thread is sort of superfluous
but I was arguing against negative steroetypes about African Americans because of Affirmative Action and I was feeling kind of blue. I just kept seeing posts saying
" In africa people live like animallssss" ( I quote)
and
"look at the dwindling number of minorities when there is no affirmative action"
I kept hearing about the mystical rich black people who take advantage of affirmative action. I need to find these black people with like 4 million dollars and gets into Harvard with an F average. Aparently, I'm hanging around the wrong black people???
Or worse- my friend got in yale with a 2350 instead of a 2400 but he was black you know....argh....
reading, the would i change my color if i could thread
and listening to all the people who were proud to be black made me feel so much better.</p>
