<p>When do you do it?</p>
<p>I heard over Christmas break and obviously the summer; but what about thanksgiving and spring break?</p>
<p>“Empty out your room” as in “take all of your stuff back home so that the room is in its original state before you moved in”?</p>
<p>Summer is the ONLY time you need to clean your stuff. Christmas break, you can use that as a time to take some stuff that you didn’t use the first semester. But you can leave all of your stuff in the dorm over winter recess. Same goes for Thanksgiving and Spring Break. Everything can stay in the dorm unless (1) it is summer vacation and (2) you are not returning to that dorm in the Spring because of studying abroad or other personal reasons.</p>
