Hello parents! I was wondering whether endocrinology courses are commonly offered to undergrads or specifically for grads. I know the University of Chicago offeres for undergrads. Do other universities do this as well? Thank you

what is that?

endocrinology is the study of the endocrine system, the release of hormones, etc. It is the fundamentals for the explanations of diabetes, etc.
I would like to know whether courses in this topic are offered at all major universities

Usually part of medical studies. Probably open to some grad students.

At schools with fairly comprehensive undergrad Biology programs it is often offered as an upper division course. Most Biology grad schools programs will offer it, and all medical schools will.

do you think I should mention this as one of my reasons for wanting to attend the university? Is it unusual or somewhat trite?

You may want to list it as one of the reasons, but I would play it up as THE reason. Enough schools offer endocrinology that you wouldn't be narrowing it down to that particular school all that much. Moreover, one course in hardly ever sufficient reason to spend four years at a given school.

Rice U offers endocrinology to undergrads.
