Or during the middle break? Reading and science are my worst sections, and I know someone who drank an energy drink during his break and scored higher on his reading and science than his english and math.

Energy drinks are loaded up with caffeine. Caffeine is a diuretic. You will be quite distracted from your test if you spend the last 2 hours of the test feeling like your bladder is about to explode.

I HAVE heard that mints help keep you alert. Pop a few tic tacs during the break or chew a piece of gum.

Maybe if you’re drained on energy… I ate bagels in the break to achieve my highest composite… Carbohydrates ftw.

I normally go with about a half-cup of coffee in the morning to wake me up, but not much because of the crash. Try it on a practice test to know best with caffeine.

Well, It would be about 2 hours i suppose w/ writing, but im not as worried about that as reading and science. My body is rather used to caffeine. I think I’ll try the carbohydrates with some sort of caffeine during break. I’ll try to practice with it first, though.

Also, are you allowed to bring a snack for the break? I thought you could but on my admissions ticket it says not to bring snacks and beverages (including water).

I would eat a banana, some whole wheat crackers and a piece of something protein ,like steak or chicken .You would have several hours covered for a brain boost ,without a coffee crash.
