Eng 100 classes

How time consuming are these classes? I know they are 0 hour classes so are you just required to go to class...I am assuming no homework or anything? What happens if you miss a class or two? Do you get good information from them? I think they are taught by senior engineering students? Anyone have any experience?

You are required to go to them seeing as they do take attendance, if you miss one class, generally its ok. There really is no homework, just attend, fast and easy.

Are there tests and quizzes in Engineering 100?

Nope, no tests or quizzes. You just go in and do team building exercises and other activities to get you initiated with the engineering school.

yeah, they’re just a bunch of lectures to get you initiated into engineering. Your senior instructor will just go over materials about dealing with diversity, using the libraries, time management, etc. You should try to go to all of them since your grade depends on attendance. I remember there were two parts - the first half was with your senior T.A., the other was in a lecture room with professors who would talk about the research they do and what fields you can go into as an engineer.
