eng lang

im currently in an ap eng lang and wondering what books are best to prep for it, or even if that books are needed to prep haha. can some1 give me advice plz, im really confused about this class. thanks =)

I heard that the barrons book was pretty good. Also 5 steps to a 5.

I used Princeton Review, which was pretty helpful in explaining some of the English terminology "Straw-Man Argument" and what not. However, I found that just reading (novels, short stories, articles, speeches) and writing the different kinds of essays they want on the test (rhetorical analysis, synthesis, argument) to be the best way to prepare.

oh cool thanks! anyone else?

barron's is tough.

i hate synthesis essays.....

A synthesis essay is just essentially a DBQ essay (document based essay, from AP history courses), but much simpler.

Read a lot, write a lot, and take AP Latin :)
