<p>I just did those the other day on a practice test and I got both wrong lol. You are correct, you demand something not for something. Also, you do not need commas on that bottom sentence.</p>

<p>If its two complete thoughts, you have to use a semi-colon or a period.
"The group demanded nachos."</p>
