I think one of my main hooks that I want to expand upon in my essay is how I was diagnosed with a severe primary spina biffida with complications after removal of a tumor in my spinal cord that I have been forced to deal with my entire life. After almost a dozen surgeries to make sure that I haven't had a regrowth of the tumor I really have an almost intimate connection with medicine and I have been able to grow through that and do better than I thought I would have been able; that and my parent are both doctors haha.

dude, honestly....you can do better than vanderbilt. you are definetely ivy league material. otherwise....you're in definetely

You have a good chance at scholarship money. ENGAGE is extremely competitive but your stats are in range.

the ENGAGE program is being discontinued ... last year's applicant class was the last class to have a shot at it.

ohioguy, serious? I didn't know that...

but I think only 1 person got it last year, so ENGAGE is near impossible anyways

I can almost guarantee you'll get a full scholarship here though
