Engineering and astronomy major

I cant find a way to double major in astronomy and aerospace eng any tips.

To be in a major of astronomy u should study physics or maths and after that to specialize in the field of Astronomy. To study Aerospace engineering u should study a field of engineering(mechanical, chemical etc) and after that to specialize in Aerospace.
Astronomy and Aerospace engineering are quite not related fields.

Indeed I understand the variation between those two and aware of the work lode in such a school. It considerably takes more time but I am up for it. So how can it be done? or is it a far fetched idea. :(

So, that’s two different colleges, which means that you would need to fulfill different requirements for those two. So, go to their websites, and I’m sure you would be able to find what’s required to be done for each one of them.

Typically no. Astronomy is A&S and Aerospace is within Mech. E in engineering. You could share math and physics courses for the gen ed requirements but there are requirements specific to one school that you would have to do for both - for example, foreign language/history/CS/ENGRI.

This is the only way you’d be able to do it: http://as.cornell.edu/academics/opportunities/dual-degree/

good luck.

good info thank you :)

I would recommend either the AEP or MechE aerospace major augmented with astronomy courses.
