Engineering And Computer Science

Anyone familiar with either program?

How is the retention rate?

These majors are notoriously difficult. How is it at Bing? Manageable?

Do you need higher stats to be accepted into these programs?

Any info you can provide would be helpful. Son toured last week and liked the school.

Accepted into Watson School of Engineering (2008)
Early Action
Stats:
SAT M710 R600 = 1310

92 gpa

Courses:
AP Calculus
Engineering Courses
English
Government

EC:
Nothing.

Binghamton usually accepts students around the 89+ averages. SATs .. I would generally say 1250+ would be good enough. If you have those qualifications, then I would suggest you apply early action because it is less competitive (I believe more than 20000 applied regular this year with only a few thousand seats).

Thanks Rhianna. Son has similar stats so it's promising.

When you get to school, come back to the Binghamton thread to let us know how Bing Engineering is for you!!!!

Thanks.
