Model United Nations

Would be interesting to see your chances.

I also took GCSE’s, and have similar ec’s as well as a similar list of colleges

Anybody?

Now you get to help 2 people: Yummy44, BRUNKUIN and possibly many other international students :)

From a strictly standardized testing standpoint, cornell and mit are a reach. Sat 1 is more important than sat 2, this is proved by the fact that sat 2 results are not published. Idk about your chances cuz idk about the scores.

Thank You PaulPierce34

With 2100 SAT, u dont have a chance in Princeton, MIT and caltech.

@sep2015‌ Thanks for the reply. What about the other unis? Do I stand a high chance?

bump

Look, there is no way for anyone to tell. 43 is a great score on the IB’s (Top <1%). 41 or 42 gets you in the top 2%, so it is good too. Internationals are going to be maybe 10% of a given class, and international is a large pool. For example, for Harvard, (not on your list, but similar type of admission rates) about 45 will be admitted from the UK. MIT is half the size of Harvard. Do you sparkle enough that you will be one of this group? Your scores (except your SAT’s) are really remarkable, and schools often look closely at school performance over standardized tests; even your SATs are really good (though 2250, some say 2100, is the conventional wisdom threshold to “breathe easier”). I suspect you will be in contention at these top schools. Good luck!

(Oops, I see now you may not be from the UK, if you taught English at a local school)

Thanks @ItsJustSchool‌ . Sorry…I should’ve made it clear that I am not from the UK.
