Engineering at LAC's?

I completed a five-year double-degree in Computer Engineering and Applied Math. As far as 3-2 programs go, it's very tough to finish all your Engineering courses in just 2 years, whereas a 4-year program would spread them out along with the preparatory math and physics. By the same token, transfer students in Engineering rarely finish in 2 years unless they had significant Engineering coursework in the first 2 years. It's just not feasible for the majority of students to take 4 Engineering classes per semester for 4 semesters.

how hard is it to find an engineering job after getting a general engineering degree at an LAC? Perhaps a place like Swarthmore or Harvey Mudd
