Can someone comment on the bioengineering at Lehigh? I am applying ED to Vanderbilt University, but that is somewhat of a reach. How does lehigh compare academically to schools like UW-Madison, the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, and Vanderbilt University?

[Lehigh University - Bioengineering gets $1.38 million from NSF](http://lehigh.liquidmatrix.com/engineering/news/NSFgrant.asp)

The program at Lehigh is considered by NSF to be the flagship program. I am sorry that I do not know about the other schools, none were on my son’s radar when he applied. My son is in the program and is thriving, it is an intimate, personal and very progressive leading edge program. The professors are very very dedicated and supportive of the students
