ENGINEERING at UMICH

background info: girl (senior) who LOVES physics and math, also likes bio and chem. people keep telling her to be an engineer but she doesn't want to spend her life building robots or circuiting wires.

i'm unsure as to whether i want to be an engineer at this stage in the game. i know that umich has top rated engineering departments but i also like the LSA. i don't think either of them will help or hurt my chances of admission or anything. it's just that i don't know what i want to do yet...

so i guess what i'm asking is how easy is it to switch out of engineering once i'm in at umich?

also i guess, how's the BME there? is there cell/tissue engineering, and is anyone in it? feedback, maybe?

thanks in advance.
