Engineering at UNC???

I just heard that there's some kind of a program where UNC students can take Engineering classes at NC State. I'm going to research this, but does anyone know anything about this program? What kind of a degree can you end up with? How many students are in it? Anything else? Thanks!

I’d really like to have some clarification on this too. I’m an incoming freshman who’s planning to major in Applied Sciences in concentration to either Biomedical or Computer engineering. But I believe the joint program to take classes at both UNC and NC State is specifically for Biomedical Engineering. Also, this is only for the graduate studies, so you’re undergrad studies for Biomedical Engineering will be conducted only in UNC. But again, I need some clarification on this.

Also this is just a little out of topic, but I did some research on people who want to do Biomedical Engineering as their undergrad major and found out that people have a hard time finding a job in that field with that certain major. It also said that if you really want a job in that field, most companies want people with at least a masters in Biomedical Engineering. I’m thinking of having an undergrad major in something more safe such as computer engineering and maybe going for biomedical as my masters. But I could be wrong, and maybe students from UNC is a totally different story.
