I attend the University of chicago and they do not offer an Engineering degree. I am currently double majoring in Biological Sciences (Neuroscience specialization )and Geophysical Sciences (Geophysics specialization). Both interest me A LOT. I would love to do research but am also very interested in having the option of a career in engineering. Would I be able to access an engineering career with these majors? Or do I need to major in Physics or Math instead?

What would you consider a career in engineering?

Requirements for licensure as a Professional Engineer vary by state. Some require a degree in engineering, while others do not.

What branches of engineering are you interested in? Have you posed this question on the engineering forum?
