<p>I thought I shouldn't do this but I feel like gaging where I may stand... with regard to completing all the other applications while I wait for ED decisions to come.</p>

<p>School of Engineering</p>

<p>Stats:
GPA: 4.0 (UW) Don't know weighted. Our school doesn't weigh o_O due to lack of APs and the number of ppl that take them
*Class isnt ranked but 1/2 out of around 400</p>

<p>SAT:
CR: 710
M: 800
W: 750
= 2260 One sitting Oct</p>

<p>SAT II:
Math IIC - 800<br>
Physics - 770</p>

<p>Courseload:
Only two APs (Calculus and Lit) offered and taken.
+1 AP extra =_=
And all honors classes offered
And few courses taken an year ahead because school had tests that allowed you to skip some freshmen courses such as math and science </p>

<p>ECs (only ones on applicaton):
- Math Club founder and president, gr 11/12
- Math contests (AMCs/canadian ones/etcetc) - school winner in nearly all of them + some regional/national
- Science world volunteer over 150hrs
- Co-coaching school's Math Counts team - did fairly well last year, had provincial winners in team
- Homeless shelter - serve food and occasionally lead praise (christian shelter).. for three years weekly
- Physics olympics team/club leader
- Community and Church volunteer over 1200 hours.
- Formed a band and performed in church/homelessshelter :)</p>

<p>Essay: Amazing common app, so-so supplementary</p>

<p>Teacher recs: did not see but tell me that they are very excellent
Counsellor rec/form: God-like (yes i play dota)</p>

<p>Awards: . . my weak spot. Just school math/science/top-studnet awards and math contests</p>

<p>not that i have experience or anything but i think your numbers and EC's are great..and you applied ED so i think you have a really good chance</p>

<p>Your SAT's are similar to mine, but your class rank is far superior. I took a few more AP's but a lot more were offered. Your EC's are great for engineering. I was accepted ED last year, and I would love to have you here at Cornell if I were on the admissions board. Good luck!</p>

<p>Your stats are eerily similar to mine (800M/750CR/730W/800M2/780P, top 1/2 students in 300 people, Canadian, CoE, math contest winner, etc.)</p>

<p>I applied RD and got in. Make your own conclusions.</p>
