<p>Help? I keep hearing that UC's engineering schools are "harder" to get into than the colleges of letters and sciences, but I have no idea what that means in concrete terms. How much higher are admitted students' test scores, grades, whatever? </p>
<p>What are the UC-B/LA/SD/D/SB engineering or Cal Poly engineering chances for a student who, as a current h.s. junior, looks like this:</p>
<p>SAT 1: CR 700, Writing 700, Math 740 (re-taking in June)
SAT 2: 11C 730, Chem 730 (will re-take 11C and take Physics after AP Physics test in May)
