Do I have a chance in getting in to Engineering?

According to the info on Freshmen Admissions, you would appear to qualify for an academic admit unless your SAT scores are horribly unbalanced. I believe academic admits get admitted straight to their requested major unless it is already full? You should double-check that latter with the admissions office because I'm not certain of it. In any event, it looks like you shouldn't have any trouble.

Ha. 100% if your scores on both CR and Math are over 600, for a total of over 1300.

Thank you for your responses!

at tamu aggie day in the counselor corner they told us "we put you in your school of choice based on how full it is" Once you get accepted they throw you to your first school of choice UNLESS it is currently full. They also said the only schools that can fill up are business, engineering, and something else. So apply early and you will definitely get in
