engineering comparison

So I'm in a bind right now. My mind is split between engineering (aero or civil) and mathematics. Can I dual major engineering and mathematics? I know that I could easily minor in mathematics with an engineering degree, but I really want to get into upper level vector calculus courses and the heavily theoretical courses, not just the "application" courses taken mandatorily as an engineer.

Oh, and how does UF engineering compare to Georgia Tech?

Here is the information for the Mathematics minor:
[Office of the University Registrar](http://www.registrar.ufl.edu/catalog/programs/minors/mathematics.html)

Since you will take Calc 1 - 3 and Diff, and Linear Algebra through the college of engineering, you will just need to take 3 other math electives.
