Engineering Decisions --Which schools have you heard from?

After hearing numerous other friends talk about getting into UCSD, I got a little anxious that I hadn't heard back from them yet. I know engineering is more selective and the decisions are usually posted later, but it's still nerve-racking. Then I realized after talking to other engineers that no other engineerings majors at my school (that I know of) have gotten accepted to UCSD yet. Is this coincidence? From which UC schools has everyone heard from already and for which engineering major?

I heard from UCI a few weeks ago and UCSB this last week for ME engineering.

got accepted to ucsb and usc in ME so far...
still waiting for ucla, ucb, uci, ucsd, and ucd...

you got into usc already ?

I've only heard from UCI like 2 days ago for Chemical Engineering. I'm still waiting for Cal, LA, and SD.

have yet to hear a thing from UCI, UCSD, UCLA, or Cal

crazykumar: well they did not exactly said that i was officially admittted...but i got an email from viterbi last week telling me that the school of engineering has already accepted me... you can read the email in this thread that i posted earlier.. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/transfer-students/488269-usc-engineering-admission-anyone.html
plus they sent me an email yesterday that i would have to release my sevis (immigration document since im an international student) from my cc to usc so they can mail me the i-20 form to get a visa for usc...so i guess i got in! ;)

Ok cool, so it sounds like we're all in the same boat in that no engineers have heard from UCSD yet.

Well, three more weeks until all the UC's post their decisions. Does this sound like an eternity to anyone else?

Yeah it's very nerveracking. I'm a biochem major so I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, impacted major, decision pending, etc. I just have a feeling that there is an inverse relationship between the closer we all get to the 30th and the chances of admission. Not to freak anyone out.

3 weeks is 3 weeks too long for me! i want it now!

just got accepted to Davis... I didn't know computer science (B.S.) was taught out of the letters and sciences department over there.

Accepted into UCLA's Mechanical Engineering :-)

UCLA Civil!!
