Engineering Degree ----> Business World

Hi, I know a few electrical/computer engineers who get hired on after finishing their undergraduate with companies in the banking sector (Lehman, Morgan Stanley, ec.) as "Technology Analysts" / any other variation.

Is anyone aware of the salary of these people?

My career goal so far: Get my BS in Electrical Eng ---> Work (either engineering or bank) ---> MBA.

Which route do you think would be the best? Work as an actual engineer first (I'm hoping Intel/AMD/Apple/Raytheon) or get hired on as a "analyst", whatever that means.

lol, route to WHAT though?

"Work (either engineering or bank)"

To get a job as an engineer or technology analyst in the banking industry.

To be successful, you should either be THE BEST at one thing, or be great at a few different things.
