If I apply to the seas and get in, but then later decide that I want to double in econ, can I double major in engineering and econ, or is the Jerome-Fisher program the only option. In other words, if I don't apply to J-F, am I shut out from a Wharton undergrad degree?

The econ major is in SAS, not Wharton. While Wharton offers a B.S. in Econ, that degree is basically a business degree. Either way, you can get good grades freshman year (or amazing grades for Wharton) and apply for a dual degree between SEAS and either SAS (if you wish to study economics) or Wharton (if you wish to study business). If you get like a 4.0 your freshman year then you can transfer into M+T.
