Anyone?

sorry to go off topic but do are acceptance letters priority mail?

acceptance is sent priority

A friend received their decision on Saturday so they have been sent out.

Accepted for Electrical Engineering!

What were your stats?

3.7 UW average 33 ACT 770 math 2 800 physics, good ECs, decent recs, high school doesnt rank but it is top 25 in the country and specializes in math and science.

Accepted for Mechanical Engineering!
4.3 weighted average
34 ACT
SAT superscore 2170, CR700, M790, W680
760 math 2, 750 Chem
decent EC’s, few but consistent
high school kinda sucks

What state do you guys live in?

do you find out if you’ve been rejected?

also do they send you an email or something? how do (international students) you find out if you’ve been accepted or rejected?

They mail the decision to your US mailing address

What if you didn’t put a Us mailing address?

If I log onto my cooper union account, for status, it just says exported to erp. What does that mean?

Exported to erp just means that your application/ essays have been put in the school’s database. Erp is just a software they use to keep track of your application scores etc

i still haven’t gotten an email and i didnt put a permanent address in the states because im an international student. so how do i know if i got accepted or rejected?

Have you tried emailing/calling the Cooper Union admissions staff?

I just called and they emailed me. Apparently I’ve been deferred to regular decision. Is that good? Do they just defer everyone or do I actually have a chance of getting in now?

Just got an email from Cooper. Rejected

Still no snail mail, though.

Getting deferred isn’t a bad thing. I don’t know which program you applied for, but competition must have been stiff this year for all three schools. (You know, recession and all.) Maybe some ED applicants were stronger than you, but the admins want to see how strong the regular pool is for comparison to see if they have room for you.

So, congratulations. I’d be pretty happy to get a deferral lol.

Which major were you rejected from?
