Engineering Essay?

School of Engineering and Applied Sciences - If you were given funding for a small engineering project that would make everyday life better for one friend or family member, what would you design? (Roughly 250 words)

How realistic is this essay meant to be? I won’t have trouble coming with an idea, nor with outlining the proposal, but just how realistic is this supposed to be? I have little/no engineering experience (my preferred area is biomed) so will admissions be looking for an interesting read or if I attend will they hand me $50 and tell me to go make it?

My thought process thus far has confined the project to a smaller scale since it states “small engineering project” but I’m just unsure of what they are looking for. Do they want to see creativity, forethought, practicality, or just good writing technique?

Just kidding. I found this link within five seconds after typing up this thread. My bad.
