<p>hmm, so I'm planning on majoring comp sci A.B., but comp sci is also offered in B.S.E. Should I write an engineering essay? my application also strongly emphasizes math and sciences, though I really would prefer comp sci A.B. over the B.S.E</p>

<p>while I'm at it, I might as well ask, should the "summers" section be akin to an essay, or a list? in other words, should we elaborate on the activities (and how much? like a full essay, or just a short description?), or should we simply state them?</p>

<p>a) I wrote an engineering essay because I was considering BSE, but I am an AB now. I'm pretty sure you don't have to if u intend to be an AB major (if u feel paranoid, you can add this as a note in the "extras" section."</p>

<p>b) I made my summers section a list. I'm pretty sure they don't mind either way. I wrote a 1-sentence summary of the summer activity if it didn't speak for itself.</p>
