Engineering for the Long Haul (6-ish year plan)

This really depends on the local community college offerings. Ours only offered Calc 1 and some of the gen eds. An ME at OSU would be looking at another 7 semesters of school because of pre-requisite class sequencing.

Ah…ours offers Calc 1-3, Diff Eq, Linear Algebra, Electrical Circuits I…stuff that would get you through Sophomore year of Engineering

You could check with the Disabilities Resource Centers to see what has worked for past students since you mentioned health issues. Full time status may vary if the reason has to do with a documented disability. We encouraged our son with 2 invisible disabilities to take only 12 credits the first couple terms to see how he adjusted. He also took a couple online classes in the summer and plans to do the same this year. We are full pay so it is costing more, but worth it for him to be successful. He is actually taking 14 credits this semester. He is not engineering and hopefully will still graduate in 4 years.
