What is a typical profile for the Engineering Honors admitted student?
I was accepted in ChemE, and was considering doing the honors app.
My class rank is 6/277
ACT- 30
good rec from Physics teacher (physics I & physics II AP)
lots and lots of leadership & ECs
I'm also an in-state admit.
My ACT is a point below the average, I'm pretty sure. I didn't know if it was worth applying or even if it makes a difference. input anyone?

I am also wondering this very same thing. My credentials are not as good though. Class rank is 20/498, SAT - Math 730 Verbal 640 Writing 640, decent ECs, AP Calculus AB Score of 4, in-state admit. Any help is appreciated.

i was admitted with rank 8/324 and SAT 2270 (M800 CR730 W740)
im not sure what the typical profile of an engineering honors student looks like, but yall both seem like you would be up for consideration and would have a chance. it doesnt hurt to apply

Never hurts to try. I don't know what it's like now a days, but I in engineering honors all 4 years. Back then the program was new and I just had to fill out my SAT scores, class rank, and my AP/IB classes. I had math - 790, verbal - 720, out of the people I knew the SAT scores of there was one 1460, rest were all over 1500 (out of 1600).
