<p>For chem Es, there arent any honors classes besides M408D honors (and M427L or M427K honors?), and not everyone in honors takes those. I don’t think there’s tons of networking and formation of lifelong friendships in freshman calculus…</p>
<p>fyi - ldboy just received a scholarship offer from Cockrell/Engineering in the mail today. So they are offering merit awards outside of the Engineering Honors program. (It is unrelated to his invitation to CNS Health Sciences Honors.)</p>
<p>I got the invitation to EHP and the scholarship and I dont have any ECs relevant to engineering. So I dont think acceptance is related to a show of interest in engineering. I think its more score based.</p>

<p>Yes, if I recall correctly, we had write about what we would do with the skills and leadership we would get by obtaining an engineering degree…or something along those lines…</p>
