Engineering in NYC

Hi all,
I have recently applied to NYU, Manhattan College, and Fordham as a Civil Engineering major. I have gotten accepted into both Manhattan and Fordham, and NYU is a later decision date. I was wondering general opinions on which of these schools to chose from. I think my #1 is NYU, but if I don’t get in there I don’t know which I should choose, Manhattan or Fordham.
I am had heard Manhattan is known for its Engineering but am unsure just how good it is or if its a well known great program. From what I’ve heard in general I think the consensus is Fordham is better than Manhattan in general stats and with name recognition. But from an engineering program standpoint which is the better option?
I am interested in hearing peoples personal thoughts and opinions on these two schools.
Thanks

Fordham doesn’t have an engineering major so if you want to be an engineer I’d go to Manhattan College over Fordham. I’m not a fan of the 3+2 programs. (And I’m saying that as a mom of someone who attended Fordham and loved it.)

You might want to check out Cooper Union, if you are ok with a small specialty engineering/fine arts college it has a very good reputation for engineering arguably one of the strongest in NYC.
