Anyone who has had an engineering internship at an oil company, please share with me your experience. Specifically I'm a mechE and am looking at Chevron or BP

@RazSoon
I studied mechE and interned at both.

Take either internship tho. Bp pays for housing. Chevron is probably a better choice long term. But don’t shy away from applying at smaller companies, these big companies can be hit or miss depending on the dept or boss you’ve got, and the independents/service companies can offer some great opportunities.

Expext to make anywhere from 25-35 per hr.

Your number one goal as an undergrad is to get an internship. (You’ll see why I say that, your senior year when you’re applying for full time jobs.)

Let me know if u have any specific questions.
