Does it matter if it specifies your major?

@happymunkee!
ouch that terrible!! well i got invited to the UCSD Med scholar program, and the letter in that pretty much said they only invite accepted students, so i think i’m good there!
did you know people who didnt recieve the email who got in? I feel like my stats are good enough?

I got the email from UCLA & UCSD
No regents for UCLA, but I got regents interview for UCB.
If I get everywhere, it would be hard to decide where to go?
Financial Aid will decide for me.

hey guys, if you have an ursa, does the section for your financial aid show your awards? it has a 2012-2013 section now on myFao

^yes, I can get into the myFao too. There is a 2012-2013 section, and it says “Sorry, there are no Notices available for you to view…”. I did not apply for financial aid. I need to get off CC before it drives me crazy LOL.

Any idea when decisions are REALLY coming out? I can’t wait to know if I’m going to Hollywood or not!

Decisions come out March 23 in late evening!
[Admission Decisions - UCLA Undergraduate Admissions](http://www.admissions.ucla.edu/applicant/decision/default.htm)

Arghh, decisions almost postponed by 2 weeks this year it seems. The agony.

I got one too!

Since UCLA is going to have a waitlist this year, anyone think that people who got the likely letter have a chance of being waitlisted?

Aerospace Eng.
UW GPA 4.10/4.50
W GPA (no idea, even though im doing 6 IB diploma subjects)
SAT I 1960
SAT II Math II: 790 Physics: 800 Chemistry: 760

Didn’t get one yet, but do you guys thing i’m eligible for one? Judging by the random dates people are getting their letters, i’m guessing that they aren’t all sent out at once. I have a theory that as soon as an application gets reviewed and it appeals to them, they send the open house e-mail. Maybe for those of us who have good enough stats yet haven’t received the letter simply may not have had our applications reviewed yet? What do you guys think?

I got this in email today.

major: computer engineering
act: 30
subject test: 760 math II
UC GPA: 4.45
938 school API

Do you guys know if they are still sending out letters even though the admission day is the 23rd? If you don’t get the letter there’s still a chance of admission right? The letter is basically just a safety or 100% for people who recieved it?

Did anyone reply? I love UCLA but the cost of a visit is not within the budget. I would love to attend the school if officially admitted. I don’t want to mess up the admission by saying no to the invitation.

@fd3srx7 - I didn’t receive the likely letter either. I’ve scoured CC for the answer, and found someone say they didn’t receive the letter but was admitted anyway. I’ve also found posts saying our chances are slim. I think we have a small chance, but I’m really stressing. Good luck.

Didnt get it. Going crazy, but at least I got into UCSD…
