engineering likely letters?

yah congrats to all who got likely letters- im got in ED...
Do likely letters come through e-mail?? or is it an acutal letter

Cal Tech definitely has the superior engineering program to Cornell's, or any other program in the country for that matter, however i have a cousin who attends cal tech and she says there absolutely NO social life there and very little school spirit...things to consider

moochy7, it was an actual letter. Big, thin envelope:)

I got mine on 17th. FEmale. Midwest..

is it juss me or are all the ones that received females from more towards the east oaast?

Is it just me or are all the ones that received letters female?

Lol. Nah, it's just you.

TeaHelps...you were being sarcastic...right? lol

B/c cornell eng accepts and overwhelming number of female applicants (54%!!!) I think you would see a trend where more females would receive likelies.

Yes, he was definitely being sarcastic. At least, I hope so...hehe

any engineering school except for caltech accepts an overwhelming number of women applicants..

Columbia SEAS has an ED acceptance rate of around 47%, i'd bet for women, it's close to 80...

yup...meaning my waitlist at caltech is the best i'm gonna do.

Yes, I was being sarcastic. That's one of the things I don't like about the internet, too hard to tell if you're joking or not. Oh well..
