Engineering - Low GPA

Hey

I'm about to being my third year and I am enrolled in the nanoengineering program at UC San Diego. The thing is, my first year I took everything too easy and averaged around a 2.7 GPA and now my second year, I have been doing a little better with a 3.2 average (although its not stellar, its still above a 3.0 lol). Anyways so my concerns are about graduate programs/jobs in the future.
I have always had high expectations for myself, but the last few years, I had become too complacent and my grades slipped big time. Do you think I have a fair shot at a good graduate school if I have a good GPA my last two years in college. UCSD is a really competitive school and I was not prepared for the workload required to succeed at this level and it took me quite a bit of time to get around to it.

To give you a little bit more of a background, I am active as an officer in a few Engineering orgs on our campus, and I managed to secure an internship this summer as well. I've been a part of projects related to what I would like to achieve after I graduate from here, but grades have been my biggest issue.

So to reiterate, what should I do from this point on. I mean my last 2 years with low GPAs are gone, and I have recently become refocused and have my sights on top engineering programs. Do you think I have a shot?
