Engineering Major + Computer Science Minor

Are there any benefits to a engineering major minoring in computer science? Would this make them more versatile in terms of obtaining jobs in certain industries?

You might be doing that anyway, as more engineering fields turn to programming. And some experience, doesn't even have to be a minor, in programming will open you to all the software jobs.

Careful. It will help, but some programming experience is not all that's needed for all software jobs.

Ummm... it couldn't hurt, numba1, if you like programming and have enough free time to do it. It might not be the deal breaker, but it couldn't look bad, right?

If you are computer engineer, CS minor won't hurt. Or telecommunication EE with networking cs minor would look great on resume IMO.
