Engineering Major with a Minor in a Business Subject

Is this possible for me to do if I take 12 hours in one subject?

I know about Business Foundations already as well.

Cockrell does allow its students to minor in a field outside of engineering, so if I understand your question correctly then it is possible. However, the engineering curriculum looks like quite a load so I would recommend the Business Foundations Summer Program so it does not interfere with your major GPA.

No one can “minor” in business. McCombs doesn’t let non-business majors take business courses except for BFP classes. The BFP program was made for this reason, to let non-business majors take business classes.

BFP is 24 hours, but you can knock out 9 of those from your core curriculum so that its really only 15.

If I were you, I would take additional engineering courses, anyway, rather than business classes. You want to soak up as much as you can during your undergrad years. You could always go back for an MBA at a later date.
