I got into CoE and I want to also minor in architecture. Is there anything special I need to do to do this? I hear this makes you very employable coming out of college.

There is no minor in Architecture. If you wish to dual-major it looks like you’ll have to take 48 credits of Architecture classes in addition to any prereqs they may have.

If this is something you’re serious about, I would recommend rather doing the Architecture major with some CEE classes. I don’t think there’s any additional employability getting an engineering degree with a few architecture classes.

This is something to ask possibly an Architecture adviser. I don’t think an engineering adviser would know anything about this.

Check out Living Arts. It’s a new interdisciplinary that brings together undergraduates in the arts, architecture, engineering, and other fields to explore innovation, creativity and collaboration.
