Engineering major without high school physics and chemistry (international transfer)?

Where I come from, there’s an academic program where students take courses that are transferable to universities in the US or Canada. I didn’t have Physics or Chemistry at high school-level (though the high school Phys and Chem in my country are not really on par with their American counterparts, and I take General Science, which incorporates some sections from those scientific disciplines)

However, I’ll be taking pre-requisite modules like Chem 101, College Algebra, etc, at a postsecondary institution (that offers that program), though. If I can do well in those and the subsequent modules, do you think colleges/unis will overlook the fact that I do not have those subs at HS level?

Thanks in advance.

It is like the dual enrollment in the US. Many HS students take college level class instead too.
