Engineering major?

Is anyone trying to transfer to another UC as an engineering major?
I'm trying to tranSfer to UCSD UCI or UCLA from Cal and my GPA is only a 3.14.. so I'm wondering if there are any other engineers out there that have gotten accepted

and what was your GPA?

I have not been accepted anywhere for engineering yet. I have a 3.7 gpa and finished all the prereqs . Same thing went for everyone that applied to engineering in my physics class last quarter, none had heard back anywhere by the time the class finished last week. I know engineering majors are just generally slow to hear back because once you get accepted to the university you usually also then have to get accepted by the engineering school so it's a two-step process.

Where are you transferring from?
I feel like the engineering school should be the one making the initial decision rather than the general admissions because GPAs from all departments aren't comparable.

Weird how my post got below yours. Anyways I'm sure that the people at the "general admissions" are well aware of the gpa differences between majors.

I hope so.
And your posts seems a couple hours ahead, thats probably the reason for the wrong order of posts
