Engineering + non-major music

<p>What are the non-major music opportunities like? How easy is it for a non-major to join a music ensemble and/or take lessons? </p>

<p>Does anyone have personal experience with this, especially as an engineering or other time-consuming major? How manageable would the extra music-related time commitment be?</p>

<p>I know people who have done marching band (very time-consuming) and university/campus band (not time-consuming).</p>
