<p>What does that mean? I'm already an engineering major and I'm thinking of changing to something else possibly...</p>
<p>Last year, they announced the change of majors during SPOP. You should wait for it and ask someone, the staffers. Is it saying you can’t switch IN to engr’ing ? or switching OUT ? </p>
<p>Either way, when you see your academic advisors/counselor, you can ask her then. Don’t worry since, your first quarter won’t have any major related classes. You will be taking mostly GE requirments, so don’t feel rushed into trying to change ASAP.</p>
<p>I’m pretty sure this means they won’t let people switch into engineering, but you should be able to switch out. It was like that last year, too.</p>
<p>If you’re planning to switch into engineering, you can do it at a different time other than SPOP. Just email your counselor like after SPOP or something and see if that’s possible. I couldnt switch into engineering too last year but I talked to one of the counselors about a week or so after SPOP and it was fine.</p>
