Engineering O R Nursing?

hey guys, im applying to penn RD, but i cant decide between nursing and engineering. i know that i’m probably leanring toward the medical field, but would a nursing degree from penn really be appropriate for med school to become a doctor? and engineering…i know its a lot of hard work, but if theres a good yield to med school, i think im up for it. anyway, here are my stats:

1480 (800M 680V)/790/780/710/lots of science, political, community service ECS, and varsity sport/ pretty good recs/ good , TOUCHING! essay at my volunteer work at the hospital

thanks guys

1/4 of the biomed engineers are also premed (thats what they said on the tour)
so it is possible

No. If you want to become a doctor, you should NOT apply to the nursing school. Penn frowns on pre-med nurses. Penn wants people who go to the nursing school to become nurses.

go with engineering

hmmmmm... just wondering though.. what are the acceptance rates? i think i may go for engineering though.. a premed nurse doesnt sound right..

engineering is relatively easier to get into than college or wharton, thats what i've heard. Penn would want you to do engineering if you want to be a doctor. I heard alot of engineers, especially biomedical and chem, pursue premed. So yeah, engineering.
