I just wanted to revive an old topic, since the open house is on saturday! who is going??? does anyone have any feedback from previous years?

oh come on is no one excited?!

Can’t wait haha.

nothing really happens tbh, you sit down listen to a talk for an hour, then listen to another talk for like half an hour, then you go on a dorm tour if you want to, then you’re done. overall really boring and overrated

do they give out free stuff?

LOL, the only free stuff you’ll get is a giant folder with all the engineering curriculum and all -_-

and free sandwiches.

Too bad I can’t volunteer, I’ll be at De Neve for a case competition with Bruin Consulting.

can you tell me more about it? Is it for freshmen only or both freshmen and transfer?

they send you an invitation to it bjt223, if they didn’t send you an invite then it’s not for you…

well its still nice to meet everyone :). and free food is always a plus haha

there better be free food
im coming all the way from the bay.

is it really worth going?
i think my major is engineering… so i think i need to go.
same with shubham, 6 hour drive! is it worth it?

if i visited the campus on monday and just asked for a tour, would it be equally as informative as if i go saturday?

If you went any other time, you will not be getting Engineering college specific info.
