I'm currently an Econ freshmen at CArnegie Mellon. At the end of this semester i should have either a 3.4 to a 3.6. Anyway, I'm not enthralled with my major and am playing to change. Met with the dean and he said since I'm doing an internal transfer, it's not guaranteed. Any schools that you would recommend. Would going to an ivy league for engineering be possible since most of them don't have the best programs.

I would kill to go to Harvard or Columbia or UPenn. Applied to two of them withe con intentions and got rejected). Any suggestions for programs? I can probably get a letter of rec from the econ department head and math head here.
