My son is looking at both the engineering living/learning community and honors housing. Does anyone have any experience with the engineering one or why one may be better than the other?

S was also deciding between those last year. On his visit he spoke to a couple of guys who were in the engineering housing and liked it (they were juniors though). I can tell you he opted for the honors housing for his first year (solo room a nice way to transition) and he figured he couldn’t opt into the honors housing later but could look into switching into the engineering (I believe that’s Bryant) his 2nd or 3rd year. Just something to consider.

Son is in Riverside West, is in Honors, and most of the guys that he hangs with on the floor are engineering majors. He chose Riverside because of its proximity to the engineering complex, and will stay in his same room next year.

If I were in Engineering and in honors, I would either choose Riverside or Ridgecrest housing.
