I heard from a professor that spoke at a local reception that a class is offered to first semester engineering students that touches all of the different majors offered. This is exactly the type of orientation I want but I can't take the class because I'm in the FPF. Are any of you taking it? Is there somewhere I could find a syllabus or a schedule so that I can at least sit in on days when new fields are being introduced? Is it possible for an FPF student to take a class like this through the university if space opens up?

E98? It’s a decal course but I’ve heard only bad reviews about it. It’s not up on the website yet but I think it might be a better idea to just ask current undergrads about their experience in whatever dept. you’re looking at. That’s what I’m doing at least.

E98 is most about getting adjusted to campus life and stuff like learning how to write resumes.
You’re talking about E10, and it is a class that most engineers have to take. are u in engineering undeclared?
