Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at Georgia Tech and Illinois UC

I’ve been accepted to both UIUC and Georgia Tech for Nuclear Engineering in fall 2016. After some thought I’ve decided to change my intended major to Engineering Physics/Applied Physics (as GTech calls it) and am having a tough time picking a school. Ruling out course load and other factors, I wanted to ask about the sheer quality of education for these two courses specifically (EP and Applied Physics at UIUC and GT respectively). I know the engineering physics course at UIUC is fantastic and am currently leaning towards going there, but I cant make a decision due to the lack of any information on the quality of applied physics at Georgia tech. Therefore I decided to make an account here and hope to gain some clarity on the topic. I know both are great schools, but I’d just like some more information on the one major at GT specifically.
Thanks in advance
