Engineering Placement Test

Thanks by the way how was the brokedown like was the first 12 easy next 12 medium and the last 12 hard ?

^ Pretty much. I mean, the first stuff is all algebra. The last part is all precalculus. Just know your trig identities (SOH CAH TOA) and your log rules. You’ll be set! :p

Some of the algebra was actually harder than the precal, if that makes any sense. I finished in like 40 minutes.

^ Yeah some people were just being obnoxious, I felt a little bad for the proctors. The people who think it’s just an easy ride will be the ones who get weeded out of engineering though.

Thank you very much by the way were there any composite functions such as f(g(x) or complex number ssuch as a+bi
Thaks

^ No. The hardest “composite function” would be this:
f(x)=x^2+x+10
What is f(x+2)?

Really easy. There were no complex numbers at all.

thanks was that hardest type of question?

So just took the placement test and it was as easy as a 6th grade math test. So do not worry about it. The only problem for me is that I finished and left so fast that I’m not sure if there was more then ONE PART(35 questions) HAHA. Any help on that part? I feel dumb haha.

yea only 35 questions…
