<p>Does anybody know if the engineering program is good? My friend will be attending SB for it and I'm considering the same thing, but I'm also considering Fordham and Boston U. as other alternatives...any input?</p>

I know SBU has a strong Computer Science program, but how is their Computer/Electrical Engineering program?
I want a background in both.
I'm also considering UC Berkeley, UI Urbana-Champaign, University of Washington Seattle, UMass Amherst.
Does SBU compete in the DARPA Urban Challenge?
About how many students get into the Computer Science Honors Program?

<p>All i know is Mechanical Engineering is ranked 5th in the nation. So it'll be fantastic if you go into that field.</p>
